The Eastern District of Michigan Bar Association (EDMiBAR) along with the Federal Bar Association, Eastern District of Michigan Chapter, recently hosted the “2026 Wade H. McCree Jr. Luncheon for the Advancement of Social Justice” at the Westin Book Cadillac in Detroit. Retired Judge Victoria Roberts (second from left), of JAMS, was this year’s recipient of the Wade H. McCree Jr. Award for the Advancement of Social Justice. Happy to congratulate Roberts at the luncheon were (left to right) Wade McCree, Saul Green, EDMiBAR Program Chair Lena Gonzalez, EDMiBAR Immediate Past President Andrew Lievense, EDMiBAR President Charissa Potts, U.S. District Court Chief Judge Stephen Murphy III, U.S. District Court Judge Linda Parker, Orlando Gregory and Jennifer Newby.
