New administrator named at
Macomb County Probate Court
Maryanne Deneweth has been named new Macomb County Probate Court administrator, filling a vacancy created by the recent retirement of John Brennan.
Deneweth has worked for Macomb County Probate Court since becoming the director of legal services in 2023 and had been serving as interim deputy court administrator
“Maryanne has been an invaluable asset to the Probate Court,” said Macomb County Chief Judge James Biernat, Jr. who oversees both probate and circuit court. “Her experience within the court and her prior professional experiences will be an opportunity to bring a new and innovative period of growth to the probate court.”
Prior to joining the court, Deneweth was a partner at Kirk, Huth, Lange & Badalamenti in Clinton Township.
There are three judges on the Probate Court bench — Hon. Sandra A. Harrison, Hon. Sara A. Schimke and Hon. Aaron J. Hall — and 36 employees.
