Warren man arraigned on charges stemming from Snapchat messages

Macomb County Prosecutor Peter Lucido has announced that 37-year-old Adam Mazur-Baker was arraigned on two criminal charges related to his alleged messaging to a young woman.

It is alleged that Mazur-Baker sent unsolicited and concerning messages on Snapchat to an 18-year-old woman. The messages continued until the victim blocked him.

Mazur-Baker is charged with the following offenses:

Computers – Using to Commit a Crime – Maximum Imprisonment of 1 Year or Less, a 1-year misdemeanor

Telecommunication Services – Malicious Use – a 6-month misdemeanor.

Mazur-Baker was arraigned Tuesday before Judge John Chmura at the 37th District Court in Warren.

Chmura set Mazur-Baker’s bond at $5,000 personal. He was ordered to have no contact with the victim. 

A pretrial hearing will be set before Judge Steven Bieda.
