MJI webinar looks at how to improve writing skills
Traditional legal language, or legalese, is often criticized for being overly complex, obscure, and inaccessible to those without specialized legal training.
This webinar will focus on writing with your reader in mind. The best way to do that is to write in plain language, which means writing that is clear, concise, and well-organized.
The program will go over practical ways to improve writing that attendees can start using right away.
Speaking at the webinar will be Thomas Myers, court analyst, Problem Solving Courts, Field Services, State Court Administrative Office, Michigan Supreme Court.
