Access to Bankruptcy Court will host the 2026 Hon. Marci B. McIvor Annual Fundraiser on Thursday, September 24, from 6 to 9 p.m. at the offices of Warner Norcross + Judd, 2715 Woodward Avenue, Suite 200, in Detroit. The event offers an evening of food and socializing with colleagues and friends.

Annual Veteran’s Golf Tournament hosted by OCBA committee Sept. 28
The Oakland County Bar Association Veteran’s Committee will host the 11th Annual Veteran’s Golf Tournament on Monday, September 28, at Paint Creek Country Club, 2375 Stanton Rd. in Lake Orion.
The tournament begins at 9 a.m. with a continental breakfast followed by a shotgun start at 10 a.m. Golfers of all skill levels are welcome and a dinner-only option is available for those who would still like to take part.
Proceeds will support a 501 (c)(3) charitable organization known as Vets Returning Home which is located in Roseville and provides housing for homeless veterans as they transition into stable lives.
Cost—which includes breakfast, 18 holes of golf with cart, beverages, and an early dinner—is $150 for an individual golfer and $50 for dinner only. Sponsorship opportunities are also available from $100 to $1,000.

Volunteers needed for national mock trial competition
Volunteers are needed for the 25th annual National Trial Advocacy Competition in Detroit. Hosted by the State Bar of Michigan’s Young Lawyers Section, NTAC brings together the best law school mock trial teams from across the country together November 6 through 8 at the Third Circuit Court in Detroit.
