The Butzel Education Industry Team is presenting its Annual Education Seminar and Panel Discussion from noon to 5 p.m., on Thursday, October 15, at Schoolcraft College’s Vistatech Center, located at 18600 Haggerty Road in Livonia. The program concludes with a networking reception.
This half-day, in-person program, hosted by Butzel Education Industry Co-Chairs Carey DeWitt and Lynn McGuire, provides education executives, from administrators to legal counsel, a look at the most pressing issues facing colleges, universities, and educational institutions today. Butzel and the panel will discuss solutions and best practices specifically focused on higher education institutions.
From the governance challenges to digital accessibility, financial stability and growth, this program addresses the current issues and offers networking to foster relationships within the Education industry.
The program will feature two panels. Panelists include:

• Dr. Glenn Cerny, president, Schoolcraft College, and Henry M. Nirenberg, shareholder, Butzel: “Monetizing What You Own: “Legal Pathways for Real Estate Development on the Campus”
“We ask the panelists, all of whom work in the industry, and other administrators, ‘What are educational administrators most concerned about now that others in the industry would like to hear about and discuss?” said DeWitt. “As a result, we have a very current and valuable program that contributes to thought leadership and industry development.”
