Update on attorney wellbeing
offered on MiLawyer Podcast
The Survey of Lawyer Well-Being, released in September, is the largest survey ever conducted on attorney mental health — providing important insights into work-related burnout in attorneys and expanding on a landmark 2016 study of lawyer mental health and substance use conducted with the support of the Hazelden Betty Ford Foundation and the ABA Commission on Lawyer Assistance Programs.
The October episode of MiLawyer Podcast dives deeper into the findings with Patrick Krill who is co-author of the study as well as both an attorney and board-certified addiction counselor — and learn more about how lawyer assistance programs can help.
Produced by the State Bar of Michigan, MiLawyer Podcast helps Michigan attorneys improve their practice and protect their well-being.
Current and past episodes are available at michbar.org/Podcast.
