Federal judge administers oath for new citizens

On Thursday, June 27, 24 individuals were sworn in as American citizens during a pre-game United States Citizenship and Immigration Services naturalization ceremony at Comerica Park in Detroit. U.S. District Court Judge Mark Goldsmith (at podium), Eastern District of Michigan, administered the oath for the new citizens.  Also assisting in the ceremony were Immigration Services Officer Jacob Ames (holding the flag) and Immigration Services Assistant Kevin Hudson (far right).

The new citizens were presented with their naturalization certificates and took the oath on the field at Comerica Park.
