Dykema attorney appointed to Connected Vehicle Trade Association board
Dykema attorney William J. Kohler, co-leader of the firm's Mobility and Advanced Transportation Team and senior counsel in its Corporate Finance Practice Group, has been appointed by the Connected Vehicle Trade Association (CVTA) to serve as a member of its Board of Directors.
Headquartered in Plymouth, the CVTA is a nonprofit business league established to facilitate the interaction and advance the interests of the entities involved in the vehicle communication environment. Kohler's practice focuses on serving clients in the automotive industry. Specifically, Kohler has experience with legal issues relating to autonomous and connected vehicles. His work in that area has involved investment transactions, technology development and licensing arrangements, and legislative and regulatory issues.
Kohler earned a J.D. from the University of Michigan, an M.B.A. from the Michigan State University Broad College of Business, and a B.A. the University of Michigan Honors College.
