No-Fault Institute
The Michigan Association for Justice presented its “No-Fault Institute XXII” for its plaintiff members on Thursday and Friday, October 23-24, at the Four Points by Sheraton Novi. The Thursday session was “PIP Day” and the Friday session focused on “Negligence.” Among those speaking at the Institute were (l-r) Jason Waechter, of Law Offices of Jason A Waechter, who spoke on Litigation/Trial Tactics: Potpourri from National Seminars; Jonathan Green, of Green & Green PLLC, who spoke on Common Trial Motions in PIP Cases; Institute co-moderator Wayne Miller, of Miller & Tischler PC, who provided an Update on PIP Cases/Intro to PIP; Joshua Terebelo, of Michigan Auto Law, who spoke on Proving Liability and Proactively Proving Threshold; Nick Andrews, of Liss & Andrews, who spoke on Handling the Catastrophic PIP Case; and Institute co-moderator Tom Sinas, of Sinas Dramis Law Firm, who spoke on Auto Neg/Tort Threshold Update and Intro to Third Party Law and Practice.
