The Law Related Education (LRE) Committee of the Oakland County Bar Association presented the 29th Annual Youth Law Conference on Tuesday, November 28, featuring keynote speaker Michigan Supreme Court Justice Kyra Harris Bolden (second from right). Happy to welcome Bolden to the conference at the MSU Management Education Center in Troy were (left to right) LRE Co-Vice Chair Mark Berke of Law Office of Mark B. Berke PLLC; LRE Co-Vice Chair Elizabeth Hohauser of Elizabeth A. Hohauser PLLC; OCBA President Melinda Deel of Melinda N. Deel PLLC; Mike Turco of Brooks, Wilkins, Sharkey, & Turco PLLC; and LRE Chair Alec D’Annunzio of the Oakland County Prosecutor’s Office. The Youth Law Conference is a one-day event that educates high school juniors and seniors about career options in the legal profession and the general legal process, provides tools for better decision-making, and features a variety of legal issues as they pertain to the students. The event is made possible through support from the Oakland County Bar Foundation.
